Rubber sheet - rubber covering for farms
Inevitable accessory for hygienic and economical animal husbandry!
Due to the thermal insulation properties of the rubber covering, it can be used as a solid covering in boxes, handlers, washing areas, open areas, and runners. The lower part of the sheets have soles, so they conduct water well.
Less straw litter! A very important advantage of POLO stall plates is that the bottom of the lower half forms an air cushion. Thanks to this, the need for straw litter can be reduced by up to 70%, which saves you from the effort of purchasing and storing
and last but not least the costs of the straw litter. At certain times, the bottom of the sheets must be washed with slag. The rubber covering is non-slip, frost-resistant and has good water permeability. The water does not stop even after a heavy rain.
"AGRO" rubber sheet
Our 100x100cm, 20mm thick POLO sheet is being replaced by the AGRO sheet, which is structurally much stronger than its predecessor, and its hardness rivals that of vulcanized stable rubber sheets of a similar type. The rubber sheet is recommended for stables, stables, cattle and pig farms due to its thermal insulation ability. A starter pro l is available for the rubber sheet, which provides a solution for bridging level differences without accidents as an edging element.
Installation of Polo Stable Rubber Sheets: Detailed Guide
Installation of Polo Stable Rubber Sheets on concrete is simple, but proper drainage and preparation are key to a durable and aesthetic covering.
Preparations:
- Concrete substrate:The concrete must be flat, free of pits and waves.Fresh, not yet set concrete is not suitable for installation. A 2-3% slope is recommended for drainage.
- Surface to be glued: The surface to be glued must be free of dust, dirt and moisture during installation and for 24 hours afterwards.
Installation guide:
- Applying the adhesive: Apply the adhesive to the concrete substrate with gaps, ensuring the drainage of natural and artificial water. Do not tape the entire surface to allow water to drain freely.
- Laying rubber sheets: Place the rubber sheets on the adhesive, making sure they fit correctly. Let the glue dry.
- Foaming: If the adhesive foams during installation, let it dry and then remove the foamed part.
- Temperature: Install the rubber sheets at a temperature between 15-25°C. The volume change associated with temperature changes during installation (width: ±1%, thickness: ±3%) must be taken into account.
Important notes:
Gluing the entire surface prevents the proper drainage of water, which can cause freezing and humping of the rubber sheets.
The load capacity of the installed covering depends on the substructure. Even in the event of a greater load, no permanent changes occur on the rubber sheets.
The material requirement of the adhesive is 0.33 kg/m².
Installation of the Polo Stable Rubber Sheets is simple and quick, but careful adherence to the above instructions ensures a durable and aesthetic covering.
