The color temperature and brightness of the plant growing lamp can be seen by the human eye, but the spectra required for plant growth are different from the human eye. The photosynthesis of the plant does not depend on the color temperature and light intensity of the lamp.
As a result of the different wavelengths of light, the photosynthesis of plants is different. The light required by plants for photosynthesis is approximately 400-720 nm. For this reason, 400–520 nm (blue) and 610–720 nm (red) light is most suitable. The absorption rate of 520–610 nm (green) light used by plant pigments is very low.
