Soft, flexible rubber cover

When choosing from our product range for public/institutional playground applications, it must be taken into account that the critical fall height (HIC) of the rubber covering is the same as the free fall height of the playground device (according to MSZ EN 1176-1) or greater. Our products have a certificate of conformity according to the MSZ EN 1177:2008 standard, the HIC values ​​are valid when installed on a concrete base! The rubber coverings are tested by TÜV Rheinland Hungária Kft. and carried out by TÜV SÜD KERMI Kft.

Rivet and half elements are not available, as the rubber cover can easily be cut to size with a hand saw.

Traditional rubber coverings are not UV stable, their color gradually darkens under the influence of strong sunlight, but their other properties do not change. If this is a problem, we recommend the use of colored UV-stable EPDM MIX AND EPDM MIX + rubber sheets instead!

EPDM MIX colors contain 20% of colored rubber granules, EPDM MIX + colors contain 50% of colored rubber granules.

 

Only black, red and green can be ordered in the traditional version.

In EPDM MIX and EPDM MIX + types, only the scattered versions can be ordered.

Thanks to the porous surface of the rubber covering, it is not only non-slip, but also water-permeable, which is why we highly recommend it as a non-slip covering around sidewalks and swimming pools. In addition to its ability to reduce the risk of accidents, it provides an almost continuously dry surface
because it absorbs water immediately. The rubber covering is particularly suitable for soft-walled pools

for covering the areas below, prevents damage to the pool and gives bathers a great feeling of comfort. Choosing the right cover is often a problem in places that are sensitive to frost - especially on terraces. The rubber cover is completely frost-resistant thanks to the rubber material. Its special polyurethane coating protects it from environmental damage in the long term, and at the same time provides a non-slip surface.
